Catalog Plan Required

The Share3D Catalog plan is required to use the data connect features.

Online Catalogs can be connected to other external data using the Share3D Data Connection feature. By using this feature, a simply web hook can be set up to provide part price, inventory and other information to the Share3D system. This allows this data to update more frequently as price and inventory information changes.

Setting up a Data Connection

If your plan includes the Data Connection features, you can create a new Data Connection by opening up the Data Connection page of your Share3D account and then choosing a New Data Connection

The information that you enter in the Data Connection form will be used to communicate with your shopping cart visitors and help them understand how the checkout process will proceed, what taxes they might expect, whether the product is shipped or digital, whether they are placing a quote or a purchase order and other necessary fields for a proper transaction.
