Site Appearance

Share3D On-Premise includes features that allow you to easily adjust the appearance and behavior of the site. In some cases, the appearance and behavior can be adjusted by modifying pre-defined settings. In other cases, changes to the server-side CSS or HTML may be required. The following are some common pre-defined changes that you can make from the existing setup options.
These are all option available from the "Setup" page that is available when an user is signed in with administrator privileges.
Adding a Logo
The title logo on your site can be customize. The server does not scale the image, so make sure that you have prescaled the image to your desired size before uploading.
To change the title logo displayed at the top of the site:
- Click the "+" sign next to Title Logo
- Click on "Choose File"
- Pick the image file and then click "Open"
- Press save to upload and display the logo.
Previous title images are retained and are available from the pull down.
Changing the Title
The site title can be changed by editing the "Title" field from the "Settings" page.
Changing the Subtitle
The site subtitle can be changed by editing the "Secondary Titles" field. You can enter a list of semi-colon seperated variants here that will randomly be displayed.
Choosing Tile or List Display
The site can be configured to display uploaded files using a "Tile" format or a "List" format.
-To use List format, remove the check next to "Use Tile Layout"
-To use Tile formatting, check the box next to "Use Tile Layout"
Limiting the File Types Allowed
Some companies might prefer to limit uploads to only the S3D format. This cane be accomplished by check the box next to "Limit to S3D Files".
