Share3D Account Basics

For some activities, you will not need a Share3D account. For example, if you are simply viewing a public link that was shared with you a Share3D account is not necessary.

You DO NOT need a Share3D account to:

• View publicly shared links to 3D files
• View a password protected link (you will need a password provided by the publisher)
• View a 3D file with shopping cart features enabled

However, if you would like to upload your own 3D files or participate in a collaborative session then you will need to sign up for a Share3D account.

You DO need a Share3D account to:

• Upload and share your 3D files
• Accept an invitation to collaborate
• View privately shared 3D files
